Can we provide our own drinks?
No. Turners Function Centre is a lisensed premises and we do not permit the hirer or any other person(s) to bring their own drinks (alcoholic or soft drinks) onto the premises.

How many guests can be accomodated?
The whole venue can accomodate a maximum of around 600 people. However, exact capacities depend on the type of event being hosted. Please see Events for floor plans and capacities.

Can we provide our own entertainment?
Yes. You are required to provide details of the type of entertainment you will be having at your event, which will be detailed in your booking confirmation letter or email.

Can we organise our own food?
Yes. If you are self-catering and require use of our kitchen there is a charge of £140 which includes the compulsory assistance of our kitchen porter. The person responsible for preparing and cooking the food must hold a current ‘basic food and hygeine’ certificate. If you do not require use of the kitchen, you may bring prepared food for your guests at no extra charge. To see full terms & conditions, view Catering arrangements form

Are children allowed to stay for the whole duration of our event?
Yes. Turners Function Rooms is a family friendly venue. There are no age restrictions on private functions and children are welcome to stay for as long as you like. We do suggest that events inviting a large number of young guests might consider employing the services of our nannies to ensure the children are appropriately supervised.

Will there be security staff to ensure our event remains private?
Yes, security staff and CCTV are included in the room hire charge.

Can we hire whole venue?
Yes, so long as the date you require is avaliable for hire of the whole venue. Very good rates are available. Contact us for more information.
